From humble beginnings above a shop in Guisborough, GSM Graphic Arts celebrates 40 successful years in manufacturing labels, nameplates and fascias.

Having been formed in 1974 by Mr Barry Dodd CBE and Mr Geoff Collier, GSM Graphic Arts and the GSM Group have grown into a well established multinational business employing over 500 people in the UK, Germany and the USA.

The founding company within the group, GSM Graphic Arts employs more than 60 local people to manufacture and supply labels, nameplates and fascias to customers across the globe. The Group is committed to the continual training and personal development of its employees and encourages innovation at all levels. This approach promotes an extremely low turnover of staff and has resulted in a number of team members staying with the business for over 20 years, some of which will reach 30 years in 2015!

GSM Graphic Arts started life above a small shop in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, but due to expansion was soon forced to move and took ownership of the site it currently occupies in Thirsk, initially utilising the old army training building already present. The site has since been developed to include a modern factory, housing cutting edge machinery, including machinery that enables GSM to digitally print your labels, nameplates and fascias.
