LSE Adhesives

LSE adhesive tapes are engineered to deliver a strong, reliable bond on low surface energy materials such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene and even challenging substrates like silicone and PTFE. These materials are increasingly common across sectors including electronics, instrumentation, transport and aviation.

For a pressure‑sensitive adhesive to generate high bonding strength, it must achieve proper wet‑out on the surface. This wetting behaviour is influenced by the surface energy of both the adhesive and the material being bonded. LSE substrates are characterised by their low surface tension, which makes achieving strong adhesion more demanding.
