Why Choose Polyester Labels?

We stock Autotex Polyester which has a flexible textured costing on the front face and is available in a fine texture or velvet texture finishes with thicknesses of 150 & 200 micron. The material has an ink receptive coating on the rear to assist the adhesion of solvent based inks, ideal for silk-screen printing.

Some Polyesters are now available with a primer suitable for digital inks which we also stock, this opens up possibilities for Polyester overlays containing unique data such as serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes.

For outdoor applications Autotex XE Polyester is recommended as the best option for applications where UV durability, high or variable temperatures and excessive humidity are encountered. This material has a hardcoat layer, tested by the manufacturer, which will not become brittle, delaminate or flake under extreme conditions.

Anti Microbial Polyester has Microban® technology embedded into the hardcoating applied to the Polyester flim during manufacture. This creates an antimicrobial layer which is always active inhibiting the growth of bacteria on the surface. This makes this material perfect for labels and graphic overlays used in Medical, Washroom and Retail environments
