Our Team
We have a team of people who are enthusiastic and passionate about their role at GSM. Alongside continual improvement and training, GSM offers a solid foundation for a career path and many employees have worked for GSM for many many years. Some for over 40 years.
Bob Middleton
Graphic Design EngineerWith over 25 years experience in graphic design, 20 at GSM, I’m passionate about creating engaging & effective designs. Creativity extends beyond the studio into my love of photography, music & capturing unique perspectives through drone photography. When I’m not designing, I enjoy art & spending time with my family.
Anya Shanks
Design Studio Team LeaderI have over 40 years’ experience in the graphics industry, including 19 years with GSM. Over that time, the advances in technology have been remarkable, giving us far greater scope for creativity and innovation. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends & family, as well as exploring the countryside.
Tim Dale
Commercial ManagerI joined GSM Graphic Arts in 2015 as a Trainee Screen Printer, progressing into the roles of Print Team Leader and Deputy Production Manager. In 2024, I became Commercial Manager. During my spare time I enjoy keeping active at the gym, running and walking my dog, along with travelling, cooking and supporting Newcastle United.
Tracy Hayden
New Business Team LeaderI have worked for GSM for 31 years, firstly in the Sales Team but moving over to New Business 10 years ago. In my free time I frequent the gym, run the occasional park run and enjoy travelling abroad – my latest travels took me to New Zealand to visit family.
Phil Deller
Business Development ManagerWorking within the New Business Team at GSM I'm responsible for Marketing, New Business Sales and Customer Development which includes visiting customers. Whilst not at work I enjoy walking and greenlaning. I am also restoring a 54 year old Land Rover.
Bridie Caisley
New Business Account ManagerI joined GSM in 2016, spending my first 9 years in the sales team before moving into New Business. Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching a bit too much reality TV. My guilty pleasure is checking FlightRadar whenever I hear a plane or helicopter.
Kellie Harvey
Deputy Commercial ManagerI've been working within the Sales Team at GSM Graphic Arts for over three years. Outside of work, I help organise fundraising events for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and local charities. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, weekend breaks, dining out, and spending time with family and friends.
Kyle Sawyer
Graphic Design EngineerI’ve been with GSM for over 15 years, working in the studio creating artwork proofs based on customer specifications and preparing files for each stage of the production process. I have a strong passion for illustration and digital art. Outside of work I enjoy live rock music, watching sports and reading.

Marketing CoordinatorI have worked at GSM Graphic Arts for 12 years in the marketing team. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and running (now and again). My favourite movie is The Sound of Music and I enjoy going to the theatre and watching live music/bands.
Rob Shanks
Graphic Design EngineerI’ve worked in the print industry for over 36 years, transitioning from screen printing into graphic design & have been at GSM for 18 years. I enjoy the day-to-day challenges of the industry, particularly the opportunity to be creative, solve problems and achieve the best results. Outside of work I value spending time with my family, my grandchildren keep me busy most weekends and I enjoy every minute of it. In my spare time, I’m a keen golfer & an enthusiastic DIY’er.
