Control Panels

Control panels allow users to monitor and operate industrial machinery or processes from one specific, centralised area. They house a range of electronic displays and components. For ease and safety of use, these control panels require covers, graphic overlays, labels and enclosure components. There are typically areas for various push buttons, switches and even LCD screens; these are used to input commands, adjust settings and view information about the status of the machine or process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Industrial labels are durable, hard-wearing labels used in challenging and demanding manufacturing environments.
GSM manufactures industrial labels using a range of materials, including stainless steel, anodised aluminium, polyester, and polycarbonate. The best material for you depends on the demands of the application in which the labels will be used.
Polyester labels are suitable for outdoor applications, but we would suggest using XE polyester, which is an exterior grade of polyester.
Both polyester and polycarbonate labels are under-surface printed, and so are extremely durable. Polyester is chemically resistant and is more suitable should embossing be required. Polycarbonate is more suited for exterior applications or if a thicker substrate is required.
Yes, under-surface printed polyester would provide the best protection against both chemicals and abrasion.
GSM can digitally print or laser etch unique barcodes and serial numbers onto the labels as required.
A range of industries will use industrial labels, including oil & gas, manufacturing, electronics, plant & machinery, construction, and instrumentation.
Anodised aluminium has passed testing for salt mist durability, and polycarbonate is suitable for underwater applications. Etched stainless is widely used for offshore applications in the oil & gas industry.
