GSM Graphic Arts manufacture both metal and plastic labels, nameplates and fascias that are suitable and hard wearing enough to withstand the elements of all weathers.

With continued investment, over 4 decades, into our processes and printing capabilities we are able to produce a variety of options for outdoor labels so that you can choose the best option for your application.

Using UV inks to print either by screen or digitally we can produce outdoor labels that have been tested for colour stability for a minimum of 5 years, ensuring that they are manufactured to last.

Metal labels, including anodised aluminium and etched and filled stainless steel, are a popular choice for outdoor labels. For anodised aluminium labels, the ink is sealed beneath the anodic layer and therefore has protection against the weather elements. The detail on stainless steel can be chemically etched away and filled with enamel paint to produce a solid, weather resistant outdoor label.

Plastic is often overlooked as a durable outdoor label however polycarbonate and polyester can be very effectively used externally. We can under-surface print these materials to protect the inks from extreme weathering conditions and provide a durable outdoor plastic label.
