Military Protractors
As part of our services for the military industry, we’re approved military protractor manufacturers. We’ve produced many protractors over the years for the MOD and specialise in high-quality products that last for a long time. We can produce specific military map protractors that hadn’t been sourced for over a decade, as we were given a sample to work from.
This sample is a British Military issue One Arm Scale with an 8mm Extruded Acrylic body, 20,000 Mils Graduation Unit and 0 to 1300 Mils on both sides of the scale. We can produce this by digitally-printing the two colour scale on both sides of 3mm clear extruded acrylic that is then laser-cut and offers clean-cut, polished edges.
Rugged Barcode Labels
Our rugged barcode labels are durable and capable of withstanding extreme conditions, which makes them ideal for military applications. These labels allow you to identify items for recording and traceability purposes, and can come with a high-quality self-adhesive tape or holes for mechanical fixing. It depends on your preference and the end use of the label itself. Both of these ensure the label can’t be easily removed.
At GSM Graphic Arts, we offer several manufacturing options, as we understand there are many different applications in the military sector. For example:
- Anodised aluminium labels – can be between 0.3mm and 2mm in thickness and offer a hard-wearing, solvent-resistance surface.
- Laser-marked or etched stainless steel labels – durable and tested for high-temperature applications up to 800oC.
- Under-surface digitally printed rugged barcode labels – durable finish made to last a very long time. The inks are printed on the rear and viewed through the clear material.
