Custom Nameplates

GSM Graphic Arts has specialised in custom nameplates since 1974.

At GSM we pride ourselves on quality and have an in house Quality Department to ensure we produce our customer nameplates to the highest standards.

We manufacture metal nameplates and plastic name plates including embossed aluminium name plates.

Anodised aluminium nameplates are a robust and scratch resistant option for a metal nameplate. We have the capability to digitally print into the aluminium so that we can achieve variable information on each plate should you require it.

Stainless steel custom nameplates come in a range of finishes including brushed and polished. All finishes look professional and can be chemically etched and infilled with coloured enamel to create a durable yet eye-catching nameplate.

Plastic nameplates come in all shapes, sizes and finishes. We manufacture domed labels that will give your custom nameplate a 3d effect adding to the aesthetics of the product. The plastic material we use can also be digitally printed to add variable data or information on them.

How are custom nameplates made?

The creation of custom nameplates starts with selecting the most appropriate material for the intended purpose. This could be aluminium, for its lightweight yet robust properties, or stainless steel, which offers maximum durability. The design phase allows for incorporating intricate logos, text, or patterns tailored to the client’s specifications. Printing techniques are then used to embed the design into the surface, either leaving a timeless polished look or colouring the details for enhanced visibility. Finally, the nameplate is cut and shaped to its exact dimensions. Widely used in sectors such as manufacturing and electronics, these nameplates display vital branding or technical information clearly and robustly.
