    Description

Bespoke Solutions for the Harsh, Demanding Environments & Applications

These labels can be required in any environment where there is exposure to harsh cleaning chemicals or other hazardous, corrosive solvents. They are often sought in agriculture, oil & gas, food processing and the plastic and chemical production industries.

We have been manufacturing and supplying chemical-resistant labels since 1974, in that time developing a comprehensive suite of processes.

Our products are available in a range of sizes, materials, thicknesses, finishes and fixing options to suit your specific needs. All are tested and approved for the harshest of environments.

Polycarbonate and Polyester: Suitable For A Range of Applications

Our under-surface printed polycarbonate and polyester labels will offer protection against certain chemicals; your choice of plastic will depend on which you wish to protect against. Text is printed behind the substrate, so the graphic detail remains fully protected from peeling, fading, smudging and abrasion.

    • Polycarbonate will resist ethanol, petrol, diesel oil and nitric acid (<10%)
    • Polyester will offer protection against acetone, diethyl ether and xylene

This is subject to the correct grade of the substrate being specified. Our team of experts will be able to advise accordingly depending on your needs.

Etched Stainless Steel: For Chemical Resistance In The Toughest Environments

In harsher environments where chemicals such as caustic soda can be used for cleaning, such as food processing lines, we would recommend a chemically etched stainless steel nameplate.

Since the text detail is etched into the surface of the stainless steel substrate, it is a permanent mark and will not be able to be removed by the cleaning process, ensuring the label data remains visible.

We can also offer over laminates and a full range of adhesives and fixings, ensuring that your labels meet the required specification and suit the application in which they will be used.

We also offer rugged barcode labels as part of our range. Produced on a range of substrates (including plastic, stainless steel and anodised aluminium), these ensure durability in even the harshest of environments.
