Nidderdale Walk 2024

Last Sunday, our team braved the heat to complete the Nidderdale Walk, in aid of charity.

The chosen charity was Herriot Hospice Homecare. This is a local charity project in its final stages of creating a space where it will support local families living with a terminal illness and bereavement.

GSM are overwhelmed to have raised more than £1500 towards Herriot Hospice Homecare by taking part in the Nidderdale Walk. We are incredibly grateful for all the donations we have received and are continuing to receive.

Our Accounts Administrator, Hayley, became our resident celebrity as she was interviewed by a local radio station. Hayley stated that the interview was more nerve wracking than the imminent walk!

Three members of our team took on the extended challenging 18 mile, yet scenic route. They successfully navigated their way across the terrain with a little help from our company Chairman, who had volunteered as a marshal for the walk.

Overall, a great day, memories made, and most importantly vital funds raised for a very worthwhile cause.
